Welcome to Artmink.com! Thank you for visiting. My name is Brian McClain. I am a computer programmer, web developer and coding instructor, with a specialty in JavaScript and Python. I am also a long-time antiques collector and consultant, with a focus on Chinese antiques and Americana. Several years ago, with the rise of Artificial Intelligence, I began working on a project designed to empower art and antiques collectors and dealers to have their pieces appraised by AI. In recent months, powerful new AI models have vastly expedited these efforts. Presenting Artmink.com, which I invite you to sign up for and start using for free. The Artmink app is available as an iOS app and also as a Web app desktop and mobile browsers. Below are instructions on getting started. The iOS and Android app versions are nearing deployment and will launch soon. Hope you like Artmink!
Cheers,
Brian McClain,

Free plan users may submit one image per appraisal. Premium Subscribers may submit up to 8 (eight) images per appraisal, and may make an unlimited number of appraisals.
Excellent results may often achieved from just one image, however Premium Subscribers may upload up to 8 images per item. Additional photos should show varying angles and closeups, but should all be of the same item. Pictures of provenance documentation may also be included. Upload by browsing your system for images or by taking photos of the item with your phone's camera.
Once you are done uploading / taking photos, just click Send to submit your images. The AI model will instantly analyze your images, write an appraisal report and return that to you. A progress scanner indicates that the process is underway.
Seconds after you click Send, your AI Appraisal report should appear, consisting of title, style, origin, condition, materials, age, value, description, and if applicable, notes on maker marks, provenance and additional images.
