Description:
Baluster (hu) form copper-bodied vase with paired archaistic scroll-dragon handles, decorated in cloisonné enamel. The exterior shows an apple-green ground with raised gilded cloisons forming dense leiwen (thunder) meanders, ruyi and lappet borders, dot beading, and small archaic beast motifs. Interior appears turquoise enamel; rim and handles are gilded. The piece imitates ancient bronzes in both shape and ornament.
