This is a handsome pair of Chinese porcelain yuhuchunping vases decorated in famille-rose enamels with gilt imperial dragons among ruyi clouds, bearing six-character Yongzheng marks. The very bright, even glaze, crisp and uniform footrings with minimal kiln grit, and the standardized, perfectly written reign marks point to later manufacture rather than 18th-century imperial wares. The palette and cloud handling are consistent with high-quality 20th-century Jingdezhen revival work. As decorative 20th-century pieces, they are desirable—especially as an intact pair. A word about fakes.. Chinese imperial-mark porcelain is one of the most faked categories; apocryphal Yongzheng marks are extremely common, so period attribution should only be accepted with robust scientific and provenance evidence.
