Description:

A complete suit of Japanese samurai armor in the Edo style, comprising a ridged kabuto helmet with gilt kuwagata crest, a ressei menpō facial mask with detachable nose and orange throat cord, a two-plate ni‑mai dō cuirass decorated with a repoussé dragon, large sode shoulder guards, laced kusazuri skirt, kote sleeves of mail and plates, haidate thigh guards, and suneate shin guards with brocade and lacquered plates. The lacing is predominantly dark indigo with cream and russet accents; surfaces show scattered wear consistent with age and use.
